Dr. Kate Moran will be speaking at TEDxVancouver

Kate Moran, the new Director of NEPTUNE Canada (NC), has been invited to speak at the upcoming TED Talk in Vancouver on November 12, 2010. Moran, who began her position at Ocean Networks Canada this summer after the retirement of the previous NC director, Chris Barnes, is a world-renowned oceanographer. Her most recent position was Senior Policy Analyst for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
