AAAS Family Days

Come explore the deep-sea at the Ocean Networks Canada Observatory exhibit! Learn to navigate through an ocean of real-time data flowing from VENUS, the coastal network, and NEPTUNE Canada, the regional network. Learn to plot graphs of current ocean conditions; Assist oceanographers in their research by watching and annotating stunning videos of marine life and ecosystems; and put your hands on real deep-sea technology. By participating in our interactive experiential display, youth of all ages will gain an appreciation for the ocean and its many wonders.
