"What Lies Beneath" Museum Exhibit
Coming January 2012 to Victoria’s Maritime Museum of BC:
Join the Maritime Museum of BC and Ocean Networks Canada on a journey stretching from the past, across the present and reaching into the future of undersea exploration.
Thanks to new technology in deep-sea diving and observatories on the ocean floor, we’ve been given a porthole into this vast and largely unexplored environment. Through the VENUS and NEPTUNE Canada underwater networks located off Vancouver Island, the Ocean Networks Canada Observatory is now writing an exciting chapter in 21st century maritime history.
Everyone is invited to the opening of this new exhibit on Thursday, January 12th from 1 to 3 p.m. And be sure to check out our ocean-oriented Speaker Series running in tandem with What Lies Beneath.
